Isildur1 and durrr Big Winners Over The Weekend
March 10, 2010It was a wild weekend of online poker action, and the mysterious Isildur1 and Tom “durrr” Dwan emerged as the big winners.
Isildur1 took on Ilari Sahamies at $300/$600 and $500/$1,000 pot-limit Omaha and wound up winning over $1 Million from the Finn. Sahamies left licking his wounds and told Isildur1 “Give my money for Hastings, gg.” Isildur obliged him to an extent.
Isildur1 faced Brian Hastings, also at $300/$600 and $500/$1,000,pot-limit Omaha and Hastings won more than $542,000 from Isildur1. That bringing Hastings’ total lifetime winnings over Isildur1 up to a staggering $3.73 million, the most Isildur1 has lost to a single opponent.
Tom Dwan had a hot hand this past weekend, netting $1.3 Million on Saturday alone. Dwan took “PixKim” for nearly 1 Million, Di “Urindanger” Dang for $300,00, and Ilari Sahamies (bad weekend!), Brian Hasting and Sami “LarsLuzak” Kelopuro for $250,000.
Dwan has rebounded mightily after losing $5.5 Million to Isildur1 at the close of 2009, and is now up $4.2 Million since December.’
